Job Description

Job Overview Full-Time Farm Hand We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and experienced farm hand/groom to join our team on a private horse farm with a 12-stall barn. This is a hands-on position involving a mix of daily horse care, barn work, and general property maintenance. Ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and confidence around horses.
Daily Duties Include:
Feeding (hay, grain, water) and turnout/bring-in Mucking stalls and cleaning the barn. Scrubbing and refilling water buckets and waterers. Applying fly spray, masks, and muzzles (summer) Blanket checks and changes (winter) Picking paddocks and checking/maintaining fencing.
Property Maintenance Tasks:
Power washing, weeding. Cleaning gutters and managing garbage. Dog waste pickup and general tidiness. Minor repairs around barn and grounds.
Requirements:
Must have experience handling horses safely and confidently Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Must be physically capable of manual labor in all weather. References required. Pay:
