Responsibilities Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and harvesting a variety of nursery plants and crops. Assist customers with purchases. Assist customers with loading of trees, shrubs, and landscape materials. Support irrigation systems setup and maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules. Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely to prepare soil, transplant seedlings, and maintain plant beds. Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces pristine. Help with greenhouse operations including temperature regulation, and ventilation. Conduct outdoor work activities like heavy lifting of soil bags or plants, landscaping tasks, and general site upkeep. Requirements Growing experience or background in horticulture, farming, or landscaping is highly desirable. Associates degree in Horiticulture is highly desirable. Knowledge of irrigation systems, greenhouse management, lawn care, and agriculture practices preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to gardening tools and equipment operation is a plus. Ability to identify various plants accurately and understand basic math for measurements and calculations. Physical stamina for outdoor work including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Strong interest in gardening, outdoor environments, and sustainable land management practices. Reliable team player with excellent attention to detail and safety awareness in all tasks undertaken.
