Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic farm team as a Farm Help, primarily focusing on truck driving and supporting various agricultural operations. Responsibilities Safely operate agricultural trucks and heavy equipment to transport crops, livestock, supplies, and equipment across the farm premise Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm machinery, trucks, and equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge Support irrigation systems setup and operation to ensure optimal water distribution for crops and greenhouse plants Manage manual handling tasks such as loading/unloading materials, stacking supplies, and moving heavy objects with proper safety procedures Supervise or assist with farm activities including planting, growing, harvesting crops, horticulture tasks, greenhouse management, and crop maintenance Follow safety standards diligently during all operations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members Experience Prior experience in farming or agriculture environments is highly preferred but can train Proficiency in operating farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems, and heavy equipment is essential Mechanical skills related to equipment repair, maintenance of farm machinery, welding, and MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) tasks are highly valued Outdoor work experience with manual handling tools like hand tools and power tools required for routine repairs or setup tasks Familiarity with safety standards in agricultural production environments is necessary for ensuring compliance and safe operations This role offers an exciting opportunity to be actively involved in all facets of farm life—combining hands-on animal care with the operation of essential machinery.
