Position Summary The Irrigation Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure consistent coverage and efficient water use. This role supports healthy, well-maintained landscapes by diagnosing system issues and performing repairs with accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-minded, and able to work independently in outdoor conditions while delivering dependable service and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Inspect irrigation systems and troubleshoot issues related to water flow, coverage, and pressure. Repair or replace components such as valves, sprinkler heads, emitters, timers/controllers, and lines. Perform routine maintenance, including system adjustments, cleaning, and seasonal preparation. Assist with installation of irrigation systems, including layout, component placement, and system setup. Ensure work is completed safely and according to established procedures and quality standards. Required Qualifications Ability to work onsite in outdoor environments and perform physical tasks as needed. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn irrigation system components and operations. Skill in diagnosing problems and implementing effective repair solutions. Commitment to safety practices while working with tools, equipment, and pressurized systems. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic with the ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience maintaining or installing irrigation systems or related landscape systems. Familiarity with common irrigation components and system troubleshooting practices. Experience working independently and maintaining high-quality standards on customer-facing or jobsite work. Knowledge of irrigation best practices to support efficient water use and proper coverage. Comfort using basic tools and equipment used for landscape and irrigation maintenance.
