Key Responsibilities Mortality collection: Walk barns daily to pick up and dispose of dead birds safely. Equipment maintenance: Repair and service feeding, watering, and ventilation systems. Facility upkeep: Perform routine maintenance on barns, fencing, and farm structures. Flock monitoring: Check bird health and report any signs of disease immediately. Bio-security compliance: Follow strict sanitation protocols to prevent disease outbreaks. Requirements
Reliability:
Consistent attendance and strict punctuality for all assigned shifts. Hardworking attitude: Ability to perform heavy physical labor in various weather conditions. Maintenance skills: Hands-on experience using basic hand and power tools. Animal welfare: Comfort working around large numbers of birds with care. Hours are 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (hours vary seasonally)
