A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Chef Assistant (September - Mid-March) Wash dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. Assist with food preparation; Weigh, measure, wash, peel, cut, grind, bread, stir and/or strain vegetables, fruits, meats, poultry, seafood, soups, sauces, and other foods. Stack firewood and clean outdoor areas, including chairs, tables, and walkways; Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and BBQ pits. Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations by properly storing food at required temperatures, maintaining a clean and organized storeroom, keeping work areas, equipment, and utensils in sanitary condition, and appropriately segregating and disposing of waste. Ranch Hand (Mid-March - End of August) Maintain grounds, including landscaping, fence, and gate repairs. Perform monthly maintenance and safety tasks, including changing filters, checking fire extinguishers, and completing property checklists. Assist in animal care, fill wildlife feeders, and clean water troughs across the property; Maintain hay and feed storage and prepare for seasonal changes. Assist with general ranch cleanup, including moving pipes, equipment, and scrap metal.Benefits:

High School Diploma is preferred. Culinary experience is preferred. Grounds keeping and ranch maintenance is preferred. Experience operating landscaping and ranch equipment. Consideration is given to relevant experience and related certification. A valid driver's license may be required, along with a driving record that meets the requirements of the company's insurance provider.
