This position is responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining residential and commercial irrigation systems while ensuring our clients' landscapes receive the proper water they need to thrive. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems Install irrigation systems and components for landscape projects Identify issues with valves, controllers, wiring, heads, rotors, drip systems, and other irrigation components Perform irrigation system start-ups, inspections, adjustments, and seasonal shut-downs Program and adjust irrigation controllers for proper watering schedules Identify leaks, broken components, coverage issues, and inefficient watering Make system adjustments to improve irrigation coverage and water efficiency Work with landscape and lawn care crews to ensure irrigation supports the overall health and appearance of the property Communicate professionally with clients regarding irrigation concerns and completed work Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and recommended repairs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work vehicle and equipment Follow company safety procedures and quality standards Represent Clear Choice Outdoor professionally on every job site What We're Looking For Previous irrigation experience required Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial irrigation systems Texas Irrigator Technician License preferred Knowledge of irrigation components, installation, repair, and troubleshooting Strong understanding of landscape watering requirements and plant health Ability to read irrigation plans and/or system layouts Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working outdoors in hot and humid weather Ability to operate hand tools and irrigation equipment safely Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player Excellent communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Professional appearance and positive attitude
