Job Duties:
Farm duties include the production of alfalfa, corn, Sudan grass, triticale grass, oats, hay, and barley. Responsibilities involve operating tractors and other farming implements; irrigating fields; and cutting, baling, and stacking hay in barns. Additional tasks include tilling soil with plows in areas where machinery cannot reach; applying fertilizers; transplanting crops; and manually planting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops. Duties also include packing, cultivating, harvesting, and loading harvested products. Employees may also be required to repair or perform basic maintenance on tractors and farming equipment as needed to carry out assigned tasks.
