Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with landscape maintenance, lawn care, and irrigation systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage for various landscapes and gardens. Responsibilities Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, and valves. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues to ensure optimal performance. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate irrigation needs for gardens and lawns. Monitor water usage and adjust systems as necessary to promote efficient irrigation practices. Dig trenches for piping installation while ensuring minimal disruption to existing landscapes. Perform regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscape maintenance. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with lawn care practices and the ability to irrigate various types of landscapes. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including digging and lifting as needed. Attention to detail in both installation and maintenance tasks.
