Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for various landscapes, including residential gardens and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure efficient irrigation practices. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for lawns, gardens, and landscapes. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency. Troubleshoot issues related to water flow, pressure, and system operation. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and repairs. Dig trenches for pipe installation while ensuring minimal disruption to existing landscapes. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate irrigation needs with overall lawn care strategies. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during projects. Skills Proficiency in irrigating techniques and landscape maintenance practices. Knowledge of lawn care requirements specific to different plant types and environments. Experience in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing irrigation systems. Ability to build and install various components of irrigation systems as needed. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
