Our Mobile Service Technician will deliver expert irrigation maintenance and repair, troubleshoot complex system issues, communicate solutions clearly with clients, and provide efficient, high-quality service in the field. What You'll Do:
Dispatch from home and efficiently complete scheduled irrigation service routes Perform spring activations, winterizations, mid-season inspections, and advanced irrigation maintenance Diagnose, repair, and replace controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, mainline, lateral piping, and other irrigation components Evaluate system performance and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and water savings Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, clearly communicating system status, repairs, and recommendations Gather and document accurate information for irrigation bids, service recommendations, and required reporting Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked service vehicle and properly care for company tools, equipment, and technology Support daily service operations while ensuring all work meets Mist'er Rain quality and safety standards What We're Looking for (Requirements): 3+ years of irrigation service experience Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, troubleshooting, and manufacturer apps/mobile technology Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients and team members Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred What You'll Get (Benefits): Health insurance Company-paid vision and dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and 6 paid holidays Company vehicle and iPad, plus ongoing training and career development opportunities Ready to make a big impact?
