Job Description

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Horticulture/Landscaping Instructor to provide vocational instruction to students in a secure correctional facility. The instructor will teach horticulture, plant propagation, landscaping, grounds maintenance, workplace safety, and employment-readiness skills through classroom and hands-on training. Key Responsibilities Deliver a state-approved curriculum to classes of up to 25 students. Develop lesson plans and lead hands-on landscaping and beautification projects. Track attendance, student progress, certifications, and weekly program activities. Maintain a safe, organized, and professional learning environment. Qualifications State-approved horticulture/landscaping license or instructor certification. Relevant horticulture or landscaping experience. Strong teaching, communication, and classroom-management skills. Ability to pass a criminal background check and complete required 40-hour pre-service training.
