Overview Join our dynamic agricultural team as a Ranch/Feedlot Employee and become a vital part of maintaining a thriving livestock operation. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, where your hands-on skills and passion for animal care will make a real difference. Whether you're assisting with animal husbandry, operating farm machinery, or performing maintenance tasks, you'll play an essential role in supporting the health and productivity of our livestock and ranch operations. We value motivated individuals eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a sustainable ranching environment. Pay is dependent on experience. Responsibilities Assist with daily animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, and monitoring livestock health Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, tractors, and other farm machinery safely and efficiently Perform equipment repairs, welding, basic plumbing and maintenance repairs to ensure operational readiness Handle animals with care, ensuring proper handling techniques and safety protocols are followed Maintain cleanliness of pens, feedlots, and surrounding areas to promote animal health and safety Use hand tools and power tools for various maintenance tasks around the farm or feedlot facilities Supervise or collaborate with team members on large projects or daily routines to ensure smooth operations Experience Prior experience in agricultural or livestock settings is required; leadership skills are valued Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery repair, welding, and equipment maintenance is highly desirable Familiarity with heavy lifting, heavy equipment operation enhances your fit for this role Basic math skills are necessary for measurements, feed calculations, and record keeping Ability to read and write in the English language Experience with power tools, hand tools, and farm-specific machinery will contribute to your success in this position
Pay:
$17.13 - $30.00 per hour
