Minimum one year of work with room to grow. We're building this program around one person, and this is that seat. You're the technical authority: you own the RF, you close the nodes, and you set the standard every crew works to. You'll start with one crew and grow to four, training each one as it comes on. What you'll own Final RF sign-off on every node — forward and return alignment, full calibration, levels verified before anything closes Calling into the operations center to close tickets and resolving whatever the post-check kicks back Photo QC review on every amplifier before upload Walking nodes ahead of cut dates: ped condition, grounding, power supply loading, map-versus-field Training every crew that comes on behind you Safety on site What you need Hands-on HFC plant experience — amps, power supplies, nodes. Not drops and customer calls.
Fluent on a plant meter:
forward and return levels, sweep, ingress hunting Can set up an amp from scratch off a design map — pads, EQs, tilt — not just troubleshoot Coax splicing on hardline, plus grounding and bonding to spec Comfortable with early starts (cuts can begin at 6 AM) and outdoor work year-round Valid driver's license, clean record, able to pass a background check and drug screen

What we offer $37-52/hour with overtime $25 per node closed clean on the first attempt Company truck or $800/month allowance, fuel card, phone All tools and meters supplied Standard benefits, paid certifications Local work. Metro Detroit, home every night, no travel rotation. We pay on time, every time, and we're building this to last. You'll have real authority over how the work gets done.
