Job Description

Valley Shepherd Creamery, located in Long Valley, NJ is seeking a manager for its onsite retail shop. The farm shop manager will have the following responsibilities; The position is 5 day full time. Work days are Monday, Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun. There is additional pay bonus derived from store sales and online order volume resulting in higher pay per hour.
  • Taste and learn continuously the many cheeses and products made by VSC and share the knowledge with our many customers and fans.
  • Hire and train part time helpers for the peak season
  • Order products and manage the non farm sections of the shop.
  • Help support our agritourism programs which includes public tours, school tours and weekend tours.
  • execute the online order system and the growing holiday gift basket operation
  • help support other areas of Valley Shepherd's operations including training new interns, teach farm market operations The position has growth potential and include paid vacation.
