Farm Manager The Dude Ranch Goshen, OH Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $30,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Live-in employment experience Full Job Description Job Overview We are looking for a dependable, live-in, hands-on Farm Operations & Animal Care Manager for day-to-day operation of our family-friendly farm and petting zoo in Goshen, Ohio. This hands-on working position requires the applicant to live on premise and is a great opportunity for one with experience with farm animals (with an emphasis on horses), basic facility maintenance and is all-around handy and able to complete tasks required for the upkeep of a small farm. You will be required to live on the farm. A newly decorated one bedroom apartment will be provided in the main house.

Position Details Animal Care:

feeding, cleaning, daily care, monitoring animal health/well-being, maintaining safe animal areas.

Farm Operations:

maintaining the grounds, operating a tractor, responsible for maintaining, completing minor repairs and cleanliness of buildings. On-site living to provide a consistent presence at the farm after normal business hours to ensure safety and security of animals. Schedule may include weekdays and weekends Leadership role with responsibility for daily care of animals, operations and guest experience Ideal Candidate Must be a self-motivated and work well own your own Loves working with kids ages 4-12 Loves animals Friendly, upbeat, and outgoing personality Reliable and punctual Enjoys the outdoors
