Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program, Equine, Complex Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a comprehensive equine facility. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth management of horse care, facility maintenance, and program development. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with individuals with specials needs, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience working with horses and farm machinery. As a key team member, you will drive excellence in animal care standards, safety compliance, and operational efficiency to create an engaging environment for participants, their families, volunteers and visitors alike. Duties Supervise daily operations of the equine complex, including horse care, facility maintenance, and program activities Oversee livestock handling, feeding routines, grooming, and health monitoring to ensure optimal animal well-being Manage equipment repair, maintenance, and safety standards for farm machinery such as tractors, power tools, irrigation systems, and heavy equipment Coordinate manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and the use of hand tools to support daily farm activities Lead staff supervision by assigning tasks related to horse care, program schedule, equipment operation, and safety procedures Ensure compliance with safety standards in production environments and maintain accurate records of animal health and facility maintenance Qualifications Proven supervising experience in farm or agricultural settings with a focus on livestock management and facility operations Hands-on experience operating farm machinery including tractors. Strong animal care background with specific expertise in horse care. Demonstrated outdoor work experience with physical stamina for manual handling and heavy lifting tasks Knowledge of safety standards applicable to agricultural production environments Experience in supervision of employees/volunteers. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
