Position Description You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager as the Recovery and Visual Landing Aids Programs Branch Head (BL41400) within the Prototype and Manufacturing Division of the Prototype Manufacturing and Test Department in the NAWCAD Lakehurst of
NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Position Duties/Responsibilities You will plan work and prepare performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommends official performance ratings. You will serve as the Head of the Recovery and VLA Programs Branch, leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineering and technical professionals. You will guide teams through the entire life cycle of large-scale acquisitions and complex contracting actions. You will manage branch assets, including personnel and facilities, and develop workload forecasts and hiring plans to maintain long-term technical capability. You will perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities, including planning work, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, managing human resources, and handling administrative tasks. You will serve as a designated Approving Official (AO) for the Government Purchase Card (PCARD) program and ensures sound fiscal management by monitoring budgets, analyzing costs, and forecasting needs.
