Job Description

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities In general terms the staff in these positions: 1. Collect the range balls from the teeing ground range landing area, and short game practice facility. 2. Wash and inspect the practice balls. 3. Refill the hitting stations on a continuing basis for the duration of their assigned shifts. 4. Complete the designated closing procedure to prepare for the facility opening the next morning.
Hours of Operation and Coverage:
The hours of operation and staffing are as follows: 1. Tuesday through Sunday inclusive, the practice area is open to the owners from 7:00 A.M. until dusk and staffed from 07:30 A.M. until 5:00 P.M plus however long it takes to complete the designated closing tasks. 2. On Monday, the practice area is open to the owners from 7:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. and staffed from 07:30 A.M. until 4:00 P.M plus however long it takes to complete the designated closing tasks plus however long it takes to complete the designated closing tasks. 3. In general terms the referenced designated closing tasks refer to the cleaning of the teeing ground, landing area, putting green, and short game area when your shift ends. You should assume that you are busy picking, cleaning, and replenishing the range balls for the entire day and the position requires physical stamina and a dedicated work ethic.
Position Requirements:
1. Proven reliability and dependability. 2. Be able to lift ball buckets weighing approximately 25 pounds. 3. Safely drive a utility cart pushing a golf ball picking device. 4. Safely drive a utility cart in congested areas to move replenishment stock from the cleaning area to the hitting stations. 5. Work in the historic weather conditions that are present in the Naples, Florida environment.
Miscellaneous:
We provide shorts, shirts, jackets, and hats for employees and food is available at 10:30 and again around 15:00 (4:00 pm) for late shift staff. Golf is permitted during the months of May through October and if possible, depending on usage, the period between Christmas and New Year.
