Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics enviroment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers. The usual schedule is Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - Finish (7-9 Hour Shift). The work environment includes all parts of the warehouse, with the most time spent on our receiving dock (dry non-air conditioned & refrigerated 40F).

Quality Control:

Position attributes would be describe as follows: Self motivated, interested in growth Good written communication skills Computer literate: Microsoft Office Detail Oriented Must have good interpersonal skills Prior experience in food manufacturing/ warehouse is a plus

Duties:

General Monitors Food Safety/Quality Systems Inbound Receiving Enforces our inbound receiving guidelines Inspects inbound shipments- product condition and trailer condition Investigates & documents out of temperature product/trailers Documents and Photographs inbound shipment issues- (food safety/ food quality/ damage) Conducts random time and temp inspections and logs results Inspects and documents

compliance Returns Inspects returned products with quality related concerns (Return QC Task) Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical.
