Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Product Service Support Technician, with a background in animal handling , to join a life sciences services company located in Denver, PA through a contract-to-hire opportunity. Responsibilities of the Product Service Support Technician include: Receive, stock, rotate, and store supplies while supporting deliveries from internal and external sources. Maintain animal housing areas by cleaning and changing cages, operating sanitation and decontamination equipment, and ensuring compliance with biosecurity and disease prevention protocols. Collect, monitor, and accurately record environmental, facility, and operational data in accordance with standard operating procedures. Support logistics and transportation activities, including constructing transport boxes, safely operating material-handling equipment, and coordinating the shipment of animals, samples, equipment, and consumables. Perform general housekeeping and waste removal while maintaining compliance with animal welfare, quality, health and safety, and regulatory standards. Provide operational support as needed, including weekend/holiday coverage and performing euthanasia in accordance with established protocols and regulations. Qualifications for the Product Service Support Technician include: Experience in general labor, animal handling, pet care, or pet store environments preferred. Comfortable performing physical labor and supporting project-based work. Reliable and committed to completing assignments and projects through to completion. Adaptable, able to follow strict facility protocols, and capable of working in a structured environment. Compensation for the Product Service Support Technician includes:
Pay Rate:
$18.00/hour
