Full Time Field Forester / Forestry Technician /

Northeastern Forestry Concepts Inc. is a consulting forestry firm based out of Saylorsburg, PA that has been in business since 1998 and offers a large range of forestry based services to public and private landowners located primarily in Eastern Pennsylvania and Northern and Central New Jersey. We have a strong commitment to sustainable and ethical forestry.

STARTING DATE

Starting immediately or when available. Prefer starting date by 12/31/2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Forester / Forestry Technician will write technical management plans, mark and cut timber stand improvement, mark timber sales, run property lines, and many other miscellaneous tasks. If hired as a sawyer the job will be more centered around tree cutting and other forestry maintenance activities. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. This position does require heavy lifting at times.

REQUIREMENTS

It is preferred that a candidate have at least a two year forestry degree. Consideration would be made for an experienced sawyer with no degree. Education/Experience may affect starting wage levels.
