Creature Comforts Veterinary Service is a 24/7 emergency and general practice veterinary hospital proudly serving the Saylorsburg community since 1986 and provide advanced care to dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Our dedicated team is committed to compassionate care, clear communication, and community trust.

Position Summary:

We are seeking Client Service Representatives (CSRs) to join our fast-paced, animal-loving team. As a CSR, you'll be the welcoming face and calming voice for clients during both routine and emergency visits. You'll help by answering calls, providing service and product information, scheduling appointments, and handling payments. We offer comprehensive training—but we're looking for motivated, detail-oriented people with excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate, professional support to clients in person and by phone Use Shepherd software to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process billing Accurately handle financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, and payment plans Assist clients during emotionally charged situations, including emergencies and euthanasia visits Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and reception area Document client communications clearly and accurately Follow protocol for medication and prescription food refills, cremation returns, and appointment confirmations Collaborate with medical, ICU, surgical, and administrative staff to ensure excellent patient care Monitor and manage client wait times and assist in triaging emergency cases as needed

What We're Looking For:

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent Customer service experience (preferred, but not required—we train the right people!) Strong verbal, written, and mathematical skills Ability to build rapport with clients in difficult situations A calm, professional, and positive attitude Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, emotionally dynamic setting

Preferred:

Experience in veterinary, medical, or emergency environments Familiarity with Shepherd software or similar EMR platforms Comfort working with exotic animals (training provided)

Scheduling & Shifts:

Full and part-time positions available Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Shift differential applies to qualifying hours— all employees are eligible regardless of schedule
