Our client, a well-established produce distributor, is looking for a Yard Clerk to join their team in Oxnard, CA. This non-exempt role covers gate and yard operations, with duties varying by shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage truck flow through the gate and provide a secure entrance to the facility Receive, inspect, and plug in refrigerated containers, verifying reefer functionality and correct temperature settings Prepare equipment for vessel loading and over-the-road transport, including connecting power cables and installing or replacing gensets Perform temperature monitoring and initiate the LTR (Low Temperature Ripening) process Complete required documentation and maintain accurate equipment and fruit inventory in the system Report any damage to equipment or property and assist with facility cleanliness

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Strong work ethic; self-motivated and a team player Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills (required for gate functions) Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays based on business needs

Monday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (must be flexible with hours)
