Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Independent Contractor (1099) to provide routine property care and maintenance services at our self-storage facility in Newberry, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept property while working independently. The contractor will be responsible for completing routine site visits approximately once per week, with additional visits on an as-needed basis for emergencies, special projects, or other property needs. Duties Conduct weekly property visits to ensure the facility is clean, maintained, and in good condition Inspect vacant storage units and identify any issues or concerns Clean vacant units and prepare them for future rentals Remove abandoned items, debris, junk, and trash from units and common areas Haul and dispose of abandoned property and unwanted materials from the site Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or property damage Ensure the grounds and common areas are kept clean and presentable Assist with occasional property needs or emergency situations as requested Provide updates and communicate completed tasks with management Qualifications Conduct weekly property visits to ensure the facility is clean, maintained, and in good condition Inspect vacant storage units and identify any issues or concerns Clean vacant units and prepare them for future rentals Remove abandoned items, debris, junk, and trash from units and common areas Haul and dispose of abandoned property and unwanted materials from the site Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or property damage Ensure the grounds and common areas are kept clean and presentable Assist with occasional property needs or emergency situations as requested Provide updates and communicate completed tasks with management Requirements Must operate as a 1099 Independent Contractor Responsible for providing own transportation, tools, and equipment necessary to complete services Must be dependable and able to complete contracted services independently Must maintain professional communication and provide updates regarding site conditions and completed work Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication ensures a safe, welcoming environment for tenants while supporting the operational excellence of our self-storage facilities!
