Overview Pine Barrens Golf Club is an 18 hole private facility nestled in the pinelands of Jackson, New Jersey. The golf course has a fun, good natured, and energetic membership. We are currently looking for individuals wishing to work as a course ranger to help facilitate pace of play on heavy traffic days. Experience Required This is an hourly part time position. The individual will be asked to work multiple days during the week and some weekend days if possible. This can be discussed later. Basic golf knowledge and knowledge of golf operations is a plus, with experience as a starter and/or ranger preferred. Previous experience working in a golf course environment would be preferred. Private club experience preferred. Applicant needs to be willing to be part of a functional team, approachable, trustworthy, and agreeable with customers and fellow coworkers. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities will include assisting with daily golf operations and any responsibilites encomapssing that of starting and managing play on the course at a private golf facility. These may include but are not limited to: Organizing and assiting with starting tee times and play as it goes out on the course. Rangering and monitoring of pace of play on the golf course.
