Apple farm with fruit packing facility looking for a palletizer for finished boxes of apples. Palletizers will work with a partner alternating positions throughout the day. On one side, palletizers will receive finished boxes of apples on a conveyor, identify size and grade of apples in each box, label the boxes properly, and run them through a taper. On the other side, the receiver will stack them onto the relevant skid. The team will work together to support each other and maintain their portion of the packing line. The team will also be responsible for labeling box lids, forming boxes, finishing and labeling pallets, and assisting apple packers; or with alternative tasks as needed. Must be able to lift 40lbs consistently, often above shoulder height. Palletizers will also learn to perform cleaning and maintenance of their machinery and surrounding areas. This position is a good fit for candidates that enjoy physical exercise and want a fast paced job. Experience in agriculture, warehouse operations, pallet jack operation, or forklifting are strongly preferred, but we are also happy to teach. This position includes opportunities for growth for the right candidate.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm, Saturday 7am-12pm We are willing to accept candidates at a 45 hour (M-F only) work week but have a strong preference for applicants that can commit to the full 50 hour week including Saturdays 7am-12pm.
