$18.00 per hour—higher pay available based on experience Outdoor Concepts is looking for an experienced Landscape Foreman who knows how to lead a crew, operate equipment, solve problems, and turn outdoor spaces into something our customers are proud to show off.

We need a hands-on leader who is willing to work alongside the crew and help get the job done correctly. If you can lead people, read a grade, build a level wall, install irrigation, and operate a skid steer without making everyone nearby nervous, we would like to meet you! About Our Work Outdoor Concepts performs a large amount of commercial landscaping and site work for builders throughout the Auburn, Opelika, and Montgomery areas . Applicants must be comfortable traveling to job sites throughout these areas and working around active commercial construction projects. Our schedules are driven by project deadlines, weather, and builder requirements. Team members must be available to: Work weekends when needed Work past sundown when necessary to complete a project or meet a deadline Work year-round in changing outdoor conditions Adjust to demanding schedules and changing job-site priorities Landscaping does not always follow banker's hours—and apparently neither does Alabama weather. What You'll Do Lead, organize, and motivate a landscape installation crew Assign daily tasks and keep projects moving efficiently Communicate professionally with customers, builders, superintendents, crew members, and management Coordinate work on active residential and commercial construction sites Operate skid steers, excavators, backhoes, trenchers, and other landscape equipment Install and troubleshoot irrigation systems Build and level retaining walls, patios, and other hardscape features Grade job sites to create proper drainage Read project plans, measure accurately, and calculate materials Monitor job quality, safety, equipment, and productivity Help train crew members and encourage teamwork Keep job sites clean, professional, and organized Work calmly and make good decisions in high-demand situations Jump in and work with the crew when needed—because leadership sometimes comes with a shovel Required Qualifications At least three years of landscape experience At least three years of management, supervisory, or crew-lead experience Experience operating skid steers, excavators, backhoes, and trenchers Experience installing irrigation systems Ability to properly level walls and grade for drainage Experience working on commercial construction projects is strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet project deadlines Valid driver's license and dependable transportation Ability and willingness to travel between Auburn, Opelika, Montgomery, and surrounding job sites Availability to work weekends and past sundown when projects require it Ability to work year-round in heat, cold, rain, sleet, and the occasional Alabama weather event that gives us all four seasons before lunch Ability to safely perform the physical duties of landscape construction Pay and Benefits Starting pay: $18.00 per hour Higher pay may be offered based on verified experience, leadership ability, and equipment skills After 90 days, eligible employees are offered: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Year-round work Opportunities to grow with the company Supportive, team-oriented, family-style work environment Why Outdoor Concepts?
