You will assist in managing daily turf care, irrigation systems, landscaping projects, and crew supervision to ensure an exceptional playing environment for our members and guests. Responsibilities Assist in implementing lawn care, turf management, and landscape maintenance programs to promote healthy growth and optimal course conditions. Supervise and coordinate daily groundskeeping activities, including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control. Oversee irrigation management, ensuring systems operate efficiently to maintain proper moisture levels across all course areas. Support construction projects related to course improvements or renovations, ensuring quality standards are met. Manage crew schedules, assign tasks, and provide training on grounds maintenance equipment operation and safety protocols. Conduct plant identification and horticulture assessments to enhance landscape design and plant health. Operate grounds maintenance equipment and company vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines. Skills Extensive outdoor work experience with a focus on lawn care, landscaping, and grounds maintenance. Proven supervising experience with team management skills that motivate and guide staff effectively. Knowledge of irrigation systems, irrigation management, hardscape features, and construction experience related to course development. Strong understanding of plant identification, horticulture practices, tree care, gardening, and landscaping techniques. Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently; familiarity with grounds maintenance tools is essential. Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to coordinate team efforts and liaise with contractors or vendors.
