Monday-Friday Summer time hours: start at 5:30 AM and finish around 2:30 PM; Winter time hours: start at 7 AM and finish around 3:30 PM; Occasional Saturdays during peak season About the Role Felipe's JJ Landscaping is an established landscaping company serving residential properties in north Scottsdale. We're looking for a Foreman to lead our field crew and own the quality of every job we do. If you know how to manage people, maintain high standards, and won't drive off a site that isn't right— we want you on our team. This is a working leadership role. You'll be out on properties with your crew every day — running equipment, setting the pace, and making sure each site is finished properly before you leave it. You'll manage a year-round crew of 3-4 people. What You'll Do Lead a crew of 3-4 on daily maintenance and working alongside them Set the pace each morning — assign tasks, stage equipment and materials, and keep the crew on schedule Identify issues on properties (plant health, irrigation, damage) and take corrective action Inspect every property before leaving to make sure the work meets our standards Hold crew members accountable for quality, safety, punctuality, and how they represent the company on site Recruit and hire new crew members as turnover and season require Train new hires on equipment, techniques, and expectations Perform and oversee maintenance work: mowing, trimming, pruning, blowing, weed control, seasonal cleanups, etc. Handle irrigation checks and basic repairs — heads, valves, drip line, and controller adjustments Conduct daily equipment checks, keep tools and trucks clean and functional, and report anything that needs repair Track job status, hours, and completion notes in our scheduling app Enforce safe work practices, including heat safety, and proper equipment handling Communicate schedule changes, site issues, and property concerns to the owner Minimum Qualifications At least 3 years of hands-on landscape maintenance experience At least 1 year leading or supervising a crew Able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record Legally authorized to work in the United States Comfortable driving an Isuzu truck and towing an equipment trailer Ability to diagnose and repair common irrigation problems Proficient with commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling, time tracking, and job notes Reliable transportation to our yard (located in Cave Creek) for a consistent early start Physical Requirements This role is performed outdoors in the Arizona climate.

Candidates must be able to:

Work outdoors year-round in temperatures that regularly exceed 110°F during summer months Stand, walk, and remain on your feet for 8-10 hours per day Repeatedly lift, carry, and place up to 50 lbs; occasionally handle heavier loads with assistance Bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead throughout the day Push and operate commercial mowers and other heavy equipment over uneven terrain Work with sustained exposure to sun, dust, noise, vibration, pollen, and common landscape allergens Safely operate gas-powered equipment for extended periods Load and unload equipment, materials, and green waste Felipe's JJ Landscaping is an equal opportunity employer.
