Based on experience We are looking for a patient, dependable, and engaging paraprofessional to provide individualized academic support for our 9-year-old son during the school day at his private Christian school in Cave Creek. He is currently in 3rd grade and has ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder . He is a sweet, social, and easygoing child who does well with positive encouragement and one-on-one support. Academically, he is working below grade level in math and reading/ELA . We are looking for someone who can help him be successful with his current classroom work while also helping identify and strengthen foundational skills where he has gaps. The majority of the time will be spent alongside him in the classroom , supporting his participation, understanding, and completion of classroom work. When appropriate, the tutor may also work with him individually outside the classroom for more focused instruction and skill-building.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with elementary-aged students Be comfortable providing one-on-one academic support Have a strong understanding of elementary math and reading Be patient, encouraging, and consistent Be able to adapt instruction to his individual learning needs Communicate well and work collaboratively with his classroom teacher Have experience working with children with ADHD, autism, or other learning differences We are looking for someone who can build a positive relationship with him and provide consistent support throughout the school year . Pay:

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 21.25 per week
