Job Description
Finest Tree Service is looking for a dependable, hardworking Working Lead to lead our tree crew in Tucson. We need someone who can follow directions, solve problems in the field, and lead employees with fairness, integrity, and professionalism. The right person will earn the crew's respect while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. This position requires someone who is comfortable taking charge, holding employees accountable, and working alongside the crew—not simply supervising from the sidelines. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside the crew at residential and commercial tree-service jobs Follow job instructions and ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently Assign tasks and keep the crew productive throughout the workday Identify problems and make sound decisions in the field Communicate with the owner or office when questions, changes, or concerns arise Ensure equipment is used properly and treated responsibly Communicate professionally with customers Help maintain a respectful, professional, and accountable work environment Work safely in Tucson's heat and other outdoor conditions Perform physically demanding work as part of the crew Requirements Valid driver's license Dependable and willing to work hard Able to follow directions and accept feedback Strong problem-solving and leadership skills Honest, responsible, and able to lead with integrity Comfortable communicating with customers Willing to learn and grow with the company Able and willing to perform physical outdoor work in hot weather Preferred Qualifications Previous tree-service or landscaping experience Knowledge of tree-service equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, trucks, and trailers Previous crew-lead or foreman experience Ability to speak both English and Spanish We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, treats customers and coworkers respectfully, and understands that being a good leader means setting expectations, maintaining accountability, and leading by example.
