Verde Property Services Inc is hiring a Landscape Production Manager - Ontario in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time position. Position Summary The Landscape Production Manager is responsible for assisting in the overall management of a maintenance operations book of work, including production, quality control, staffing, safety, training, and evaluation of crew supervisors and maintenance crews. Vehicle, cell phone, laptop, and other equipment as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities ? Responsible for the timely servicing and quality of work for all maintenance contracts within the Operations/Account Manager's book of work. ? Control budgeted property hours and all direct and indirect costs. ? Train Crew Leaders to manage their crews for efficiency and quality. ? Regularly and routinely communicate with customers about routine items, supporting the Account Manager in providing quality customer service. Must be helpful and courteous to customers. ? Assist in coordinating and supervising irrigation, pest control, and landscape enhancement activities. ? Review personnel to ensure adherence to company policies and that proper training and safety practices are followed. ? Review and monitor equipment maintenance programs. Ensure equipment is in good operating order and that crew members are trained in proper, safe operation and preventative maintenance. ? Review and approve daily hours and weekly payroll. ? Fill in for any field position (Gardener, Crew Leader, Irrigation Tech) as needed due to absences or operational needs. ? Work with the Operations/Account Manager to provide pricing and labor-hour estimates for new maintenance sales, special projects, seasonal color, and similar work. ? Maintain working knowledge of automatic irrigation systems, including controller programming, valve troubleshooting, and repair of lateral lines, sprinkler heads, and drip emitters. ? Comply with all established company policies and procedures. ? Maintain confidentiality of proprietary company information; sign nondisclosure and noncompetition agreements as required. ? Arrive a minimum of 20 minutes before crews dispatch and remain at least 30 minutes after crews complete the workday. ? Spend approximately 25% of the workday outdoors, including hands-on training on equipment and machinery.
