Job Summary:
The Landscape Enhancement Installer focuses on landscape enhancement projects on commercial properties, including planting, sod installation, PVC irrigation repairs, drainage improvements, and hardscape construction. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in landscape enhancement installation and is prepared to work in a physically demanding, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain commercial landscape enhancements including trees, shrubs, flowers, sod, mulch, gravel, boulders, and other materials.
  • Excavate manually with a shovel
  • Perform drainage system repairs including catch basins and trench drains.
  • Repair irrigation systems, including PVC piping, sprinkler heads, valves, and timers (e.g., Hunter).
  • Daily upload of landscape service photos at all sites into company Portal to provide visual documentation of site conditions and all completed work.
  • Operate company vehicles and machinery to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
  • Work closely with Crew Leads and Managers to ensure project goals are met efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain, clean, and inspect tools, equipment, and vehicles according to company and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper cleanup and restoration of job sites after project completion.
  • Provide timely resolution of any landscape enhancement issues.
  • Manage, prioritize, and effectively complete all contracted services while staying within the allocated amount of time they have been scheduled for each service.
  • Ensure the safe use of all equipment and power tools, including trenchers, compactors, and saws.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adhere to Cal/OSHA safety guidelines and company safety policies.
  • Complete and submit accurate Inspection forms for Vehicle, Trailer, and equipment issued to and under your care.
  • Utilize company software, emails, team chat, and portals effectively on provided mobile devices.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license.
  • DMV driving record (MVR) check required .
  • Minimum of two years ' experience in commercial landscape construction or enhancement work.
  • Basic knowledge of plants, shrubs, trees, and landscaping materials.
  • Proficiency in safe operation, basic repair, and maintenance of all machines and tools used in landscape maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of drainage systems and smart irrigation technology.
  • Proven work experience with irrigation system components and troubleshooting preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience operating heavy machinery, preferably landscape or similar equipment.
  • Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
  • Availability to work overtime or weekends as required.
