A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Able to easily navigate and use POS systems and MS Office. Works well in a team environment. Ability to work with a diverse staff. Note:
As is typical in the gardening/farm industry, this job involves a seasonal layoff from late December through the winter. Dates are determined by work availability and weather. Your benefitas are maintained and you are able to claim unemployment insurance during the layoff period.
Responsibilities include:
Manage the store in all instances when the Store Manager is not on the premises Supervise cashiers and inside/outside operation personnel including hiring, scheduling, performance reviews and compensation recommendations. . Open, close and cash-out the store as scheduled. Manage the front-end operations for efficient service and proper control processes. Manage receiving, inventory control and merchandising processes. Engage and serve customers in a sincere and knowledgeable manner. Train and monitor team on floor sales processes and techniques. Establish and maintain product and application knowledge to serve customers and train employees. Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked and properly merchandised showroom (indoor & outdoor). Assist in the planning and implementation of displays to stimulate sales in collaboration with the store manager. Assist in the development and execution of store events and promotions. Contribute ideas and thoughts regarding customer interests, product advertising and competition to management. Communicate with management and store employees in a clear and organized manner.
