A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description
Grant's Gardens is a fast-growing landscaping company serving the Sarasota and Longboat Key areas. Positions Available Install Laborer Previous landscaping experience preferred, especially landscape installation. Assist with planting, mulching, landscape enhancements, and other installation projects. Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks. Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a crew. Install Crew Driver Valid driver's license required. Previous landscaping experience preferred, especially landscape installation. Safely transport crew members, materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. Assist the installation crew with daily landscaping projects. Reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Install Crew Leader 2+ years of experience leading or running a landscaping installation crew. The ability to read and discuss landscaping designs. Strong knowledge of landscaping and landscape installation. Ability to read blueprints or minor design schematics and follow verbal design instructions. Experienced operating small and heavy machinery, including skid steers and front loaders. Experience planting trees, shrubs, and other plant material. Ability to lead a crew, delegate tasks, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. Valid driver's license preferred. Responsibilities May Include Installing trees, shrubs, plants, mulch, and other landscape materials. Preparing and maintaining planting areas. Operating landscaping equipment and machinery. Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment. Maintaining a clean and safe job site. Following project plans and completing installations according to company standards.
