What they do
A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description
- Reading of blue prints and landscape plans
- Plant identification, proper planting procedures, plant spacing
- Landscape and hardscape construction materials
- Correct pruning methods
- Some experience with irrigation systems: minor irrigation repairs, ability to operate irrigation clocks and check for water coverage, correct watering practices Great communicator with customers as well as colleagues via phone and email Proficient computer skills Proactive, self-motivated, team player, and willing to learn attitude Eligibility to drive company vehicles Benefits Competitive salary plus commission Company vehicle, phone, and computer Company insurance, including dental and vision 401k plan with company matching Paid vacations and holidays
