Job Description

Overview As the Golf Course Building and Grounds Superintendent for this 9-hole golf course, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the maintenance and improvements of the golf course and associated grounds. You will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance personnel to operate the course, including managing turf grass, irrigation systems, landscaping and overall course aesthetics. You will operate and repair tools and equipment used in golf course maintenance. Your job will involve developing and implementing maintenance plans, monitoring course conditions, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and utilized. In addition, you will attend regular board of director meetings to provide course updates and budget estimates to support ongoing operations and improvements of the course. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in turf management, golf course and equipment maintenance and staff supervision. You should possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion to deliver exceptional outcomes. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to lead and work effectively with the board of directors and golf course staff is important to ensure success. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
