POOL RESURFACING PROJECT MANAGER

Kentucky | 1-Month Project | $50-$100/Hour + Travel & Housing Provided Bluegrass Pools is seeking an experienced Pool Resurfacing Project Manager / Lead Technician to oversee several commercial pool resurfacing projects in Kentucky. We are looking for a highly experienced professional who can come in, take ownership of the projects, lead a crew, and ensure each job is completed correctly, efficiently, and to a high standard.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$50-$100 PER HOUR Pay based on experience and qualifications

We will: Fly you to Kentucky and provide return airfare Provide housing for the duration of the projects Have multiple resurfacing projects lined up and ready to begin Provide an opportunity for additional future projects for the right candidate The initial commitment is expected to be approximately one month .

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Applicants should have 5+ years of professional pool resurfacing experience , including hands-on experience with: Pool plaster application and finishing Gunite / concrete pool repair and resurfacing PVC membrane pool systems Surface preparation and removal of existing finishes Commercial swimming pool renovation Jobsite organization and quality control Troubleshooting and solving resurfacing issues in the field

YOUR ROLE

This is more than a technician position. You will serve as the onsite project manager and resurfacing lead .

Responsibilities will include:

Overseeing multiple pool resurfacing projects Leading and directing a resurfacing crew Establishing the proper process and workflow for each project Coordinating materials, equipment, and project needs Training and directing team members as needed Maintaining project schedules Inspecting work and maintaining quality standards Communicating project progress with Bluegrass Pools management Identifying and resolving jobsite issues Ensuring each pool is properly prepared, resurfaced, finished, and ready for startup

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who knows pool resurfacing inside and out and is comfortable taking the lead on a project from start to finish. The ideal candidate is someone who can arrive on site, evaluate the pool, develop a plan, organize the crew, and execute the resurfacing project without needing extensive supervision. Previous experience as a crew leader, foreman, superintendent, or project manager is strongly preferred.
