Overview Join our dynamic landscape team as a Foreman, Landscape Hardscape, and lead the charge in creating stunning outdoor environments! In this energetic role, you will oversee the installation and maintenance of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structural elements that transform outdoor spaces. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Duties Lead and supervise a team of landscape and hardscape crew members on construction projects, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met. Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines. Oversee the installation of hardscape features including pavers, stonework, retaining walls, and outdoor structures with precision and attention to detail. Manage equipment operation such as grounds maintenance tools, landscaping machinery, and company vehicles to ensure efficiency and safety. Coordinate with clients, project managers, and suppliers to ensure materials are available and work proceeds smoothly. Conduct site inspections to ensure proper plant identification, irrigation setup, grounds maintenance, and overall landscape health. Enforce safety procedures across all outdoor work activities while maintaining a clean and organized job site. Requirements Proven supervising experience in landscape construction or hardscape installation with a strong background in outdoor work environments. Extensive knowledge of landscaping practices including lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, tree care, and horticulture. Skilled in plant identification, irrigation management—including irrigation system installation—and grounds maintenance equipment operation. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing crews effectively while fostering teamwork. Construction experience related to outdoor projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, or similar structures. Ability to operate a variety of landscaping tools and machinery safely; experience with company vehicle operation is preferred. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients clearly and professionally. Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; familiarity with standards for outdoor safety is advantageous.
