This role is vital in managing a team of skilled crew members, coordinating hardscaping and softscaping activities, and maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive outdoor work experience, and a passion for horticulture and grounds management. As a Landscape Leadman, you will drive project success through effective supervision, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to landscape maintenance. Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscaping crews in daily operations, including lawn care, planting, pruning, and groundskeeping tasks Oversee hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features Manage irrigation systems, perform irrigation repairs, and ensure proper watering schedules for healthy plant growth Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and ground covers to ensure proper care and maintenance Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including company vehicles, mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools Coordinate with team members to plan and execute landscape maintenance schedules that enhance outdoor aesthetics Enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure working environment for all crew members Experience Proven supervising or team management experience within landscaping or grounds maintenance environments Extensive outdoor work experience with knowledge of lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and groundskeeping practices Hands-on experience with hardscaping construction projects and landscape installation techniques Strong understanding of irrigation systems operation and maintenance Ability to identify various plant species accurately and recommend appropriate care routines Familiarity with landscaping equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and ground maintenance tools Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects effectively Join us in creating beautiful outdoor environments!
