Role:
In this role, you will oversee a crew of landscaping professionals, playing a crucial part in the success of our construction or maintenance projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring project quality, safety, and adherence to deadlines, while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities (Construction or Maintenance):
Construction:
Manage all aspects of assigned construction projects, from site preparation to final installation. Oversee tasks like planting, hardscaping, drainage, and/or irrigation.
Maintenance:
Lead a crew in providing outstanding maintenance services for residential and commercial properties. Tasks include lawn care, bed maintenance, pruning, and seasonal cleanups. Supervise crew activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines. Conduct regular quality checks and ensure efficient use of tools and equipment. Train and mentor crew members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate effectively with project managers and clients.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Landscape Foreman or Crew Leader. Strong understanding of landscaping principles and best practices (planting, hardscaping, maintenance). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire a team, fostering a safe and productive work environment. Proficient in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience with operating landscaping equipment is a plus.
