Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor landscaping crews across residential and commercial developments, with a focus on HOA communities. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, blowers, and weed wackers. Track and manage inventory while ensuring proper maintenance and timely repairs of equipment. Safely operate dump trucks and trailers (20' x 8') and maintain vehicles and trailers in a clean, organized, and professional condition. Utilize the yard's wash bay as needed. Oversee lawn maintenance services with an emphasis on customer service, efficiency, and high-quality results. Build and maintain positive relationships with homeowners and team members. Lead by example with a hands-on approach to safety, issue resolution, and fostering a team-oriented environment. Understand and meet each client's unique landscaping needs and specifications as outlined in service agreements. Monitor team activities and provide accurate daily reporting on performance and progress. Maintain clear and consistent communication with the office and production foreman to ensure seamless operations. Start each day by meeting the team at the yard, loading up equipment, and safely transporting the crew to job locations.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Proven experience in landscaping and crew leadership. Valid NY identification and a clean background. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment. Excellent organizational skills, A positive, team-oriented attitude, and the ability to work independently.
