McCaskey Landscape & Design is looking for a dependable, hands-on Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead a crew and deliver exceptional service across Northeast Ohio. What You'll Do Lead your maintenance crew and manage their daily responsibilities. Attend daily morning meetings promptly to assess yesterday's work and today's schedule. Assign work and ensure properties meet company quality standards. Oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, mulching, and seasonal services. Coach crew members in safe, efficient work practices and oversee training on your individual crew with new team members. Perform property quality checks and correct deficiencies promptly. Communicate with the Operations Manager about schedules, weather, equipment, and materials needed. Communicate with the Account Manager about client needs or questions while on site. Maintain accurate time, route, service, and property notes. Operate and care for mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers, and related equipment. Identify plant health, irrigation, turf, or site issues and report them clearly. Represent McCaskey professionally when interacting with clients. What We're Looking For Previous landscape maintenance experience; foreman or crew-lead experience required. Strong understanding of routine high-end, horticulturally sound landscape maintenance practices. Ability to lead a crew with clear direction, patience, and accountability. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work. Ability to work outdoors in changing weather and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and operating landscape equipment. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, quality, honesty, and follow-through. Willingness to teach others and help teammates grow. Spanish speaking skills are a plus. Schedule & Winter Expectations Full-time, year-round position with a typical Monday-Friday schedule during the maintenance season. Daily start times are set around crew launch, route requirements, weather, and client needs. Workdays may occasionally extend beyond normal hours to complete priority work safely and properly. Winter employment includes snow and ice management responsibilities. Snow events may require early-morning, overnight, weekend, or holiday work depending on storm timing and service commitments. Foremen may be responsible for leading snow crews, coordinating equipment and materials, monitoring properties, and communicating changing conditions to management.
