Duties Support the Golf Course Superintendent in overseeing daily grounds maintenance, including turf care, landscaping, and hardscape projects. Assist with lawn care practices such as mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control to ensure optimal turf conditions. Supervise crew members in performing groundskeeping tasks, including planting, pruning, tree care, and landscape installation. Manage irrigation systems to maintain proper moisture levels and promote healthy plant growth; troubleshoot irrigation issues promptly. Lead hardscaping construction projects such as pathways, bunkers, or water features by coordinating with contractors and team members. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and company vehicles. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations while maintaining the course's aesthetic appeal. Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Supervising or team management experience in outdoor or landscaping environments. Knowledge of plant identification, tree care techniques, and grounds maintenance equipment operation. Familiarity with irrigation management systems and hardscape construction projects is highly desirable.
