Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas pristine and healthy Operate a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems with precision and safety in mind Lead and supervise a team of laborers, providing guidance on daily tasks, safety procedures, and best practices for landscape care Identify different plant species and assess their health; manage pest control using appropriate pesticide management techniques Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly Conduct groundskeeping activities like tree trimming, gardening, ground leveling, and soil preparation to enhance landscape aesthetics Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all operations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping tools and equipment operation Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and gardening practices Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems essential for daily tasks Ability to identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests; knowledge of horticulture principles is a plus Knowledge of pesticide management techniques for safe application when needed Demonstrated outdoor work experience with a focus on lawn care, tree trimming, and general landscaping duties Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards Familiarity with safety protocol adherence in outdoor work environments This role is paid — offering an engaging opportunity for those passionate about outdoor work and landscape excellence.
