Overview Barker Lawn Care & Landscape is looking for an experienced Landscape & Hardscape Foreman to join our growing team. This is a leadership position for someone with prior hands-on landscaping and hardscaping experience. We are looking for someone who understands how jobs should be completed from start to finish, can lead a crew efficiently, and takes pride in producing professional-quality work. Our projects vary from day to day and include everything from landscape installations and sod to drainage systems, irrigation, paver patios, and retaining walls. Types of Work We Perform Paver patios and walkways Retaining wall installation Drainage systems, including French drains, catch basins, and downspout drainage Irrigation installation, repairs, and adjustments Sod installation and lawn preparation Grading and site preparation Landscape bed installation and renovation Mulch, pine straw, and decorative rock installation Plant and shrub installation Property cleanups and landscape renovations Demolition and removal of existing landscape/hardscape materials Foreman Responsibilities The foreman will be responsible for leading a crew and helping manage projects in the field.

You will be expected to:

Lead and work alongside crew members Understand the scope of work before beginning each project Keep jobs organized and moving efficiently Maintain high standards for workmanship and job-site cleanliness Properly lay out patios, walkways, retaining walls, drainage systems, and landscape installations Understand proper excavation, grading, base preparation, compaction, and drainage Operate landscape and construction equipment safely Make sure materials and equipment are used properly Communicate job progress, material needs, and potential problems with management Communicate professionally with customers when necessary Ensure the crew follows company procedures and safety standards Perform final job-site cleanup and quality checks before leaving a project Experience Required Prior professional landscaping and/or hardscaping experience is required. We are specifically looking for someone who already has experience with several of the following: Paver installation Retaining wall construction Drainage installation Irrigation Sod installation Grading and proper drainage slopes Base preparation and compaction Reading measurements and calculating elevations Operating skid steers, mini skid steers, excavators, compactors, saws, and other landscape equipment Leading or supervising a landscape/hardscape crew This is not an entry-level foreman position. Applicants should be comfortable taking responsibility for a job site and understand professional landscape and hardscape installation practices. Pay:

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
