A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Customer Service Involvement:
Provides exceptional customer service through a great quality of work and respect to customers Respond quickly and thoroughly to customer concerns and requests Develop relationship with customers to build loyalty and referrals Machine Operation and Equipment Duties Operate and perform general maintenance and installation tasks using skid steers, mini excavators, ride-on mowers, small engine machines, dingos and chemical spray equipment. Maintain assigned equipment and maximize their useful life Maintain vehicles, tools and equipment according to manufacturers' directions
Physical Requirements:
Standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, heavy lifting and excessive walking for long periods of time Must be able to work in hot and cold weather conditions
Experience:
5 years or more of previous experience is required in hardscape installation (e.g. retaining walls, paver driveway/ pool decks, etc.), landscape installation, irrigation, outdoor lighting, drainage installation, and grading. Typcial work hours are Monday thru Thursday from 6:30am until 4pm or later. Friday hours are typcially from 6:30am until 2:00pm.
