Good Natured Gardening Charleston, SC area Good Natured Gardening is seeking a Field Manager — Enhancements to lead landscape enhancement projects from planning through completion. This is a hands-on field leadership role—not an office or supervisory-only position. You will regularly work alongside the crew performing landscape enhancement work. When the team is short-handed, a project falls behind, materials need to be moved, or quality needs attention, you are expected to pick up the tools and help get the work done. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate enhancement projects, including labor, materials, equipment, access, and timing. Lead projects from sales handoff through final walkthrough and closeout. Maintain a reliable two-week production schedule. Communicate clearly with clients throughout each project. Coordinate material takeoffs, ordering, delivery, and job readiness. Inspect work and correct quality issues early. Perform hands-on landscape work alongside the crew as needed, including planting, bed preparation, irrigation, grading, hardscape, material handling, and cleanup. Step into production work when the crew needs support or a project needs to get back on track. Lead, coach, and develop field employees. Review active jobs for schedule, quality, labor, materials, revenue, and client risks. Escalate significant safety, financial, quality, or relationship concerns promptly. Keep project information and job documentation current. What We're Looking For Experience leading landscape enhancement, installation, or project-based field work. Strong client communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to organize multiple jobs and crews. Practical knowledge of landscape installation and enhancement work. Willingness and ability to perform physical landscape work regularly. Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions. A team-first attitude and willingness to lead by example. Ability to coach employees in a direct and respectful way. Ability to identify quality, safety, schedule, and revenue risks. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. Ability to travel between job sites throughout the Charleston area. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is helpful but not required.
