Full Time Christmas Décor Plus More , a premier holiday décor installation company located in Knoxville is immediately hiring an Installation Team Lead . The Installation Team Lead oversees and directs the day-to-day activities of a specialized installation team dedicated to creating stunning holiday décor displays. This position is responsible for ensuring timely, safe, and aesthetically pleasing installations of holiday lighting, wreaths, garlands, and decorative picks on residential and commercial structures, rooftops, and trees. Position Overview The Installation Team Lead oversees and directs the day-to-day activities of a specialized installation team dedicated to creating stunning holiday décor displays. This position is responsible for ensuring timely, safe, and aesthetically pleasing installations of holiday lighting, wreaths, garlands, and decorative picks on residential and commercial structures, rooftops, and trees. The Team Lead acts as the on-site representative, interacting directly with clients to deliver exceptional customer experiences and uphold the premium standards associated with Christmas Décor Plus More. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to our standards of excellence. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Primary Responsibilities- Lead teams of 2-3 employees to expertly install, secure, and safely remove holiday lighting displays on rooftops, trees, and yards.
- Perform visual quality control checks on all installations, ensuring exceptional presentation standards.
- Accurately document and record installations and any related service details.
- Represent the company positively, maintaining excellent customer relations and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Promptly communicate client feedback or issues to management for quick resolution. Safety and Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, including OSHA standards for working at heights and electrical installations.
- Complete daily job-site paperwork, including installation notes, client instructions, and inventory logs.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the General Manager regarding job-site status, team performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months to 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in customer service, installation, landscaping, construction, or similar roles.
- Previous experience in seasonal décor installation or related fields strongly preferred. Required Skills and Abilities
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders, working at significant heights, standing for long periods of time, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfort working outdoors in varied weather conditions, including cold and inclement weather.
- Proficient with ladders, hand tools, and power tools associated with installations. Licenses and Certifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain certification provided by the company. Work Schedule and Conditions
- Standard working hours Monday-Friday, morning to late evening shifts.
- Peak season (Mid-October to early December) requires extended hours (including early mornings) and 6-day workweeks. Overtime will be mandatory during peak season.
- Frequent travel within the local region required; transportation between office and job sites provided by the company.
